A colourful storybook based on the lives of Autistic children who are seen as different but yet are similar like us.

Autistic children embark on a colorful journey where they learn the invaluable lesson that every child, including those with autism, is unique and wonderful in their own way. The story follows a group of diverse friends who discover a hidden garden where magical plants grow. Each plant represents a different aspect of diversity, including neurodiversity. It s not only a delightful storybook but also a valuable tool for parents, educators, and children alike, fostering a culture of empathy, understanding, and unity for a brighter and more inclusive future.

Objectives

  • To create a comfortable atmospheric storybook for kids to be familiar with "uniqueness".

  • To create a world where every child should know that they are unique and worthy of every possible happiness.

The Design Brief

  • The Global Sustainable Development Report (GSDR) on Autism seeks to comprehensively assess the global landscape of autism, highlighting its prevalence, impact, and interventions while advocating for inclusive policies and practices.
     
  • Through a multidimensional approach encompassing epidemiology, socio-economic factors, healthcare, education, and legal frameworks, the report aims to inform policymakers, stakeholders, and practitioners about the challenges faced by individuals with autism and propose sustainable strategies to enhance their well-being and inclusion.
     
  • By engaging stakeholders from diverse backgrounds and incorporating a human rights-based and person-centered approach, the GSDR on Autism strives to foster collaboration, promote knowledge-sharing, and empower individuals with autism to advocate for their rights and needs, ultimately contributing to a more equitable and supportive world for all.
